The Intrepid Club has one aim – “To help you enjoy what matters to you most” and we will go to any length to ensure we have it right.
Who We Are
The Intrepid Club is the outbound travel division of Ventours. Twenty six years ago, a British gentleman behind the name, Mr. Alain Whitehouse, returned to India in search of his colonial roots, and stayed on. He got a group of his friends together who joined hands and become connoisseurs of a different East and the creators of a discerning traveller’s itinerary. That was the beginning of Ventours in 1986.
Nearly three decades later, and after much thought it was decided to extend the Ventours experience to clients in India’s domestic market. The idea was to cater to the travel zest of prosperous Indians who now want to roam the world, looking for out of the box travel experiences.
Thus was born The Intrepid Club – an outbound travel division of Ventours.
What We Do
The Intrepid Club caters to the travel requirements of guests who are connoisseurs of the good things of life and have high expectations from every experience they seek – including planning their annual family vacation. Their demand for detailing and precision can be quite a challenge for most travel planners, but we are happy to rise to the occasion, and we know that our effort will be valued. As travel advisers our aim is simple – to create a personalised experience – something that can’t be ‘Googled’.
In a true sense, we are Curators of Experiential Journeys and not just travel planners.

Our guests don’t really want to go down the oft trodden path, but they seek a deeper knowledge and appreciation that expands their understanding of the world. They are experience seekers – educated, active, and accomplished professionals with an intense curiosity about the world.
The ‘Club’ stands for rewards and exclusivity. The Intrepid Club recognizes its loyal customers, and makes effort to see that they feel special for standing by us. In the future, members of the Premier Club, will get to relish the indulgence and exclusive benefits, the club offers its creme de la creme.

One of the goals of The Intrepid Club, is to be the tour consultant of first choice for its guests. If guests have travelled through us once, we expect them to come back to us time and again because of the meticulous way in which we executed their initial holiday plan. We are thoughtful in creating a tailor-made experience, so that the holiday turns out to be just a little Magical!
The Intrepid Club caters to high net-worth individuals and is familiar with the needs of people for whom discretion and privacy (and occasionally security) are paramount. However, with us you never skim the surface – we ensure we let you ‘get out there’ and know the place like a local.
Our focus is to tailor-make the end to end experience by researching and offering the best plans. We believe in laying the cards on the table, and helping guests to decide what is best suited for them. We are transparent with options, but give our credible advise based on what we think suits the guest best. We understand that little details can make a big difference, especially when the guest is looking for expertise and perspective beyond what they are reading online or getting from magazines.
Juggling this expectation is not easy, because the experiences need to be authentic and real on one hand, but within the realm of a safe environment on the other, the flavor needs to be local and ethnic, but the space is luxury. Making sure we cover the tourist radar, and yet managing to create some special moments which define us, are some of the things that keep us motivated. We work towards making a guest 'feel' great, as what people remember after decades is the time when they ended up 'feeling wonderful', and not so much what they saw. With over 33 years of experience in the travel business Vivian's vision is for The Intrepid club to build a
reputation as the best in the business in India and his expertise and advice is invaluable to the team at the club. He is fetish about the levels of service we deliver to our guests and will leave no stone unturned to ensure our guests experience surreal journeys. As Director with Ventours International travel for over 2 decades he has seen and overcome several challenges and the interests of the clients is always paramount. He firmly believes that if he had another life and a choice, he would like to spend another lifetime in the world of travel !
Sadhana is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the team at The Intrepid Club.She has nearly two decades of experience in the travel trade in varied portfolios - airline sales at Jet Airways, marketing, ecommerce, luxury retail etc.Her last assignment was with Abercrombie & Kent, as General Manager Sales & Marketing, where she was responsible for identifying, servicing and retaining HNI's and discerning travellers who have high expectations from every experience they seek. Sadhana believes in creativity, perseverance and keeping the clients interest paramount, while curating experiential journeys.
