Rookie Mistakes

Buying Wine in a Restaurant: New Zealand is one of the relatively few countries which has a tradition of BYO ‘Bring Your Own’ wine to a restaurant and pay only a small ‘corkage’ fee for being able to do so. In doing this, you can take a wine of your choice. Not all restaurants offer this, but by seeking out a BYO restaurant you can often reduce your overall bill by up to a third.

Buffer time: Not keeping buffer days for Hot Air Ballooning. Sometimes due to weather change hot air balloon could be cancelled thus it is nice to schedule your Hot Air Ride with couple of days buffer.
