A Masterclass in Cool Climate Wine Making

All over the world appreciation is growing for cool climate wines - and Canterbury is rapidly gaining an international reputation for excellent cool climate wines. Best known for exquisitely spicy and rich Pinot Noirs and Rieslings, the region has a great reputation for other aromatic varieties such as Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer as well as its own distinctive take on Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.

Stopover at the Marble Point Winery - on the way to Hanmer Springs. Enjoy delicious food and wine tastings with breathtaking views over the Waiau River valley and out to the majestic Southern Alps. The Tasting Room is their onsite restaurant, serving up a full gourmet menu from 10am – 3pm daily.
